HoneyCar Roanoke sold us a used car that's engine blew on the interstate, having to be towed, the same day we bought it. After nearly a month from buying the car, they agreed to reimburse us the cost of the car less the processing fee. We were sent a check that was missing a signature. I had to use their bank to get it cashed, which charged a fee. The dealership knew this car was for a 15 year old, as we let them be present in the experience. We were assured we were getting a reliable car, that had been looked at by their mechanic. In an email, the owner said, "It's generally recommended to have a mechanic inspect any used vehicle, especially one sold "AS-IS" for under $2,000, as it's likely to have existing issues." This lets me know they knew this car was not safe. The fact they knowingly sold this car says a lot about their character. I did sign an "as-is, " but their website says a 3-day, 300 mile return policy, with no stipulations. I just wanted to share my experience. This dealership lacks professionalism, honesty, and clear communication.

They had a Lexus GX 460 on the lot. I sent a message. I'm in another state. Got a call the next morning from one of their salesmen (Travis). The whole process was very simple. Answered all of my questions and sent extra pictures of the car and the carfax. We started the paperwork over the phone. I flew down the next day. I liked the car, handed over the check, and it was a done deal. Excellent customer service!

We found ourselves in need of a replacement vehicle for my daughter on short notice due to an accident. I've always bought new and was reluctant to shop used cars but we just weren't in position to get her a new car. I was really, pleasantly surprised at the experience we had at HoneyCar. Our sales person, Quinton, listened to our needs and budget, pulled up the vehicles they had available within those parameters and made them readily accessible. We decided on a car and haggled for a bit. Quinton remained helpful but as is so often the case the manager ultimately came out and sat with us. I can honestly say I think they truly did everything they could to get us the best deal and I walked away happy and satisfied. The gentleman helping with the closing paperwork was also very helpful and informative in helping me get access to information online that I didn't realize I would need for the transaction. Part of my reluctance in a used car is you can never really know what you are going to get. HoneyCar reports putting their vehicles through a rigorous inspection and certifying them--which was also verbally explained to us during our discussions. I was skeptical that this was really just lip service but happened to overhear, while I was waiting and unbeknown to others, an employee/mechanic telling one of the managers about a concern he had with one of the vehicles and what they needed to do to fix it. That left me with high confidence they are as good as their word. If you need a used car, I would absolutely check them out. They had a wide range of selection and very good pricing on top of everything else.

I woke up January 1, 2025 with the sole intention of purchasing a car. I went to Honey Car and from the moment I walked in the Customer Service was on point!! Travis was my sales coordinator and he listened to everything I wanted and didn't want in a car. I asked extra questions and there wasn't anything he wasn't willing to answer. The test drive was great it was like riding around with a friend. His passionate way of explaining the process and not making me feel as if he were trying to make me buy a vehicle or just put me in "anything" made me feel very special. The extra time he took to make sure I was comfortable offering water or coffee meant alot. Travis, Chris, and Tony all were wonderful. Thank you for the great experience at Honey Car!!!!

I really appreciated the way Honeycar and Travis went the extra mile to make sure that I felt like a valued customer. I came looking for a very specific vehicle that was not immediately available, but commitment to customer service, Honey car put me in a rental,on them,and a commitment to making the vehicle that I came for available. This commitment took a lot longer than most other dealerships would have allowed, before "encouraging" me to select something different. My experience was further complicated because I live an hour and a 1/2 away from this wonderful location.
